I wanted to talk to you about the treatment of fibroids and what you can do about this problem. If you know someone with this condition, you probably don’t fully understand what it is. It is when you have tumors growing around your uterus and other reproductive organs. The good news is that these tumors aren’t cancerous, but they do cause complications with the whole reproductive process. This could leave you with a lot of problems trying to get pregnant. Most women that have this problem will suffer from miscarriages due to the complications posed by the fibroids. I want to show you the treatment of fibroids, so you can make an educated choice about what you want to do.
Basically the medical community doesn’t know why this problem occurs and only offers a surgery for the problem. They will try to cut out the tumors with the hopes that you can still get pregnant. Often, this won’t be the case. There is usually a problem with the tumors being cut out of such organs as the uterus and you won’t be able to get pregnant. Other surgery will be hysterectomy, which will remove all the reproductive organs from the body.
If you’re one of those people that has to have a child, than this is not a solution for you. Another treatment of fibroids that is a little better is hormone therapy. Basically the size of fibroids is dependent on your bodies estrogen levels. As your estrogen goes down, so do the fibroids. That’s basically the goal with hormone therapy. As long as you can keep your estrogen down, you can avoid the complications of fibroids.
